Join us for Preschool Story hour inside the Children's room of the Main Library for a story and activity!

Story hour is every Monday at 10:30 a.m. from September through July. 

W.G. Rhea Public Library is introducing a Seed Library for our patrons! Grab a seed donation envelope from the circulation desk and you will be able to trade them for seeds in our community driven collection.

Currently open from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. Mondays and Fridays. Our creative lab is a combination of S.T.E.A.M and maker space. Patrons will be lead on a journey of learning about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. The space will also be available for creative crafting as we continue to add to the resources available. Give us a call or come and see us to learn more!

Kids in the Kitchen is an engaging live Facebook show that brings together the joy of cooking with the innocence and creativity of childhood. Hosted by Kayla, the show is a delightful platform where young chefs get the opportunity to showcase their culinary skills.

The recipes featured on Kids in the Kitchen span a wide range of cuisines and skill levels, ensuring that there's something for every budding chef to explore. From simple and playful creations like rainbow fruit kabobs to more complex dishes like homemade pizza or colorful pasta salads, the show aims to inspire a love for cooking in kids of all ages.
